The Chilango-Andalousian Poetry Recital was born in Seville, Spain, in 2006 (the event was first performed in the two countries in 2007) and now it is arriving to its seventh edition, with different events in different seats in Ciudad de Mexico. It has three different dates in the city of Seville, apart from another one in the andalousian city of Córdoba, with the participation of Mexican poets, as well as Spanish, English and Brasilian, for the activities starting on the 17th October and taking place until 31st October.
The Chilango-Andalousian Poetry Recital is organized by PLACA, the Chilango-Andalousian Artists Platform, a platform founded out of the first recital performed in 2006 in Seville, Spain. This recital aims the poetic vinculation, first between the two countries, Spain and Mexico, as epicentres in which the work has been developes, but which is still growing and looks for a spread of its work to other cities and countries.
The Chilango-Andalousian Poetry Recital, apart from looking for the poetic vinculation between different places around the world, has worked also on becoming a forum in which different traditions and poetic languages live together.

El Recital de Poesía Chilango-Andaluz nació en Sevilla, España, en el año de 2006, (en los dos países se realizó por primera vez en el 2007) y ahora que llega a su séptima edición con eventos en diferentes sedes de la Ciudad de México, con tres fechas en la ciudad de Sevilla, además de una más en la ciudad andaluza de Córdoba, con la participación de poetas mexicanos, españoles, ingleses y brasileños, durante las actividades que iniciaran el 17 de octubre y que se extenderán hasta el 31 de Octubre.
El Recital de Poesía Chilango-Andaluz es organizado por la PLACA, La Plataforma de Artistas Chilango-Andaluces, una Plataforma nacida a partir del primer recital llevado a cabo en el 2006 en Sevilla, España, que tiene como objetivos la vinculación poética, primero entre los dos países, España y México, como epicentros en los que se ha venido desarrollando el trabajo, pero que ahora crece y busca seguir extendiendo su trabajo a otras ciudades y países.
El Recital de Poesía Chilango-Andaluz, además de buscar la vinculación poética entre diferentes regiones del mundo, ha trabajado también para convertirse en un foro en el que convivan diferentes tradiciones y lenguajes poéticos.
